The Pentax 2x rear converter and Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro also give strange readings on the DS. The max aperture goes to 1.4 (guess that's why the converter is worth over $300 :)
Although the displayed info is screwy the actual exposers seem OK and you can get really super close macro with this combination. Powell
