Well, it depends on what sort of testing you're used to looking at, I guess. Having done a bit of resolution testing myself (high-contrast USAF targets) ( http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/resolutn.htm ), the idea of center and edge (or corner) sharpness in lpm is familiar, while MTF charts seem a bit "alien" - <g>.
