Well, then I've been breaking that rule about 97% of the time. It doesn't matter how big of a hard drive I get, I always manage to fill it pretty quickly... I would agree that maybe something like 90% full would be a good limit, to allow space for swap file changes and temp file changes, etc. But 50% seems much too conservative... Fred
