I have two sets of NiMH batteries, the Powerex 2200 type that topped the Imaging-Resource tests. They are amazing. Absolutely worth the money and highly recommended. I keep one set in the ist-D and one set as backup. I also have a set of Lithium CRV3 batteries in the bag in case of emergency but frankly, I've rarely needed to switch to the second set of NiMH so I've never come close to needing the lithiums. Get the Powerex 2200's and be happy :)
