"Steady" does keep his hands on the camera when he releases the shutter with that 300 at 1/30th. This does a lot to dampen any vibration. I do the same with my *istD and the 400. I have done a lot of handheld stuff with the 6x7 and 300. It's a piece of cake at 1.250th and hit and miss at 1/125th.

Aaron is quite good at handholding 67 - I remember seeing him focus
than quickly flick up the mirror than release the shutter all in one
moment at 1/15 or so :-)

Dunno if he still has the 67 - Anyone from Ontario seeing Aaron
lately?

Also, I think handheld the vibration is reduced, dampened by the hands
much more than a rigid, resounding tripod. Perhaps if Reichmann used
wooden tripod it would be better too.

Good light!
