Happens to me all the time. It used to piss me off royally, now I'm resigned to it. About 2 months ago, I bookmarked the archives, so I no longer have to link to it through PDML.net (save a few mouse clicks this way). It's not as bad for me as it was before, but I still miss a fair bit. When it was really bad a month or two ago, it was pointed out that whenever we comment on a PAW, we should make sure we leave the url of the photo in the quote that we're responding to, just so others who may have missed the initial post can see the pic and comment. It happened at least two or three times this weekend that I missed an initial post, and only saw a reply, from which I linked to the photo.
