I'm a lot more impressed with the A28 then I expected from the reviews I've read. Still can't touch the M28/3.5 though I don't think.
I'm quite surprised at your shots. Overall I'd rate the F ahead of the FA and just behind the M, very hard to beat the M50/1.7 for sharpness. I don't know how the 17-28 would do, I've never seen one. I do know the Zenitar 16/2.8 shows a lot less fisheye effect on the D than on full frame. As a matter of fact if I'm careful one might not know it was a fisheye.
