background: I am a long time medium and large
format shooter, Pentax 67, LF 4x5, 5x7 etc. and
recently moved into "35mm" digital. I shoot landscape
and am comfortable using manual stop lenses, non AF,
fixed lenses, and DOF calculations etc.
I am considering using some pentax manual Takumar
screw mount lenses on my canon 20D (I don't need
expensive zoom AF lenses). It appears I can get some
good glass at very reasonable prices. Does anyone in
the group have Pentax-EOS adapter experience, where
might I find a good source of fixed focal length
glass, do very short lenses pose a problem with mirror
movement?
Thanks - Doug
