Why the *ist D AF system. I think the MZ-S has faster AF than the *ist D. 
But I like the dual wheel suggestion :-)

OK, hypothetical question here (so we can *really* argue about it!)
Nikon has built the F6 as their final film camera, the ultimate
statement of what they think a 35mm film camera should be. People are
buying it, presumably to get the last great film camera from Nikon. 

If Pentax built their own ultimate film SLR (it ain't gonna happen -
Pentax doesn't have the financial resources to waste on making
"statements"):
What would it be?
Would you buy one?

My dream film camera would be an MZ-S with the dual control wheels and
AF system of the ist-D and the OTF metering of the LX.

I don't *think* I'd buy one, but if they made such a beast I'd be very,
very tempted.
