Mark - I'm glad it moved you - I didn't think a lot about anything but structure when I shot it... consciously.. but I too find mannequins creepy (I thought the whole gallery of Danios and one of Shel's to be even more so)
Not my usually thing, as you know... Oddly, though, I was mourning when I took it -- in a way.. it being an anniversary of a great loss for me... The dressmaker dummy doesn't usually have a head -- the styrofoam head form doesn't belong... I was just so glad to see that the digital "worked" for black and white the way I wanted it too, I didn't think much about it beyond that... Thanks for your thoughtful comments...
