I agree with your assessment but nonetheless, the 20D sells much
better and is considered by most to be more advanced.

What I would like to see in the next D is bigger buffer and way faster
writing of raw files - more like the D70 speed.  I would also like to
see much more consistent TTL flash capability.  I have better luck
using my old AF400T than the AF360FGZ.  In most other ways,
the current *istD is doing just fine for me.

But to be able to sell the product, it is going to have to be 8mp or
higher and have better AF and better frame rate, etc.  Hopefully they
don't lose what I like most about the *istD along the way.
