On what sort of information are you basing this? It's been less than a year 
since the *istDS was introduced and only slightly more since the first Pentax 
APS digital saw the light of day. And since they're building lenses designed 
specifically for APS cameras, I think it's quite likely that there will be new 
and improved variations. I wouldn't be suprised to see a 10 to 12 megapixel APS 
camera from Pentax in the near future.
