I agree with your assessment, the Oly E-10 is the quietest SLR camera I've ever owned (or expect to own), pity its low light performance was so relatively poor. Next comes my Mamiya 7, it has in lens shutters which are very quiet, winding on however is a little noisy. Getting into noisy territory are my Leica M bodies, then by a margin again the *ist D.
