A few suggestions: I have a Sigma 90/2.8 macro that was about $150 new, I like it for both portrait and macro to 1:2. It's an "A" type.
I REALLY like my Super Takumar 85/1.9 for portraits, if she doesn't mind the 'stop down' metering it's superb and fairly inexpensive and easy to find. Also the Tokina/Pentax/Phoenix/Whatever 105/3.5 really isn't a bad Short Tele/Macro for the money, and it's AutoFocus to boot. When you say "A" lens do you mean "P" lens, since it's a Ricoh? Don PS: If I can find a nice Tamron SP 90/2.8 one of these days the Sigma will be for sale. > -----Original Message----- > From: Cotty [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2005 4:29 PM > To: pentax list > Subject: K Mount Portrait Lens > > > Hey Listers, > > I'm looking out for a budget lens for a friend.
