No really, that's cool. I converted one or two to Pentax myself...
I sent Bruce's email off to my studio buddy.
He has a D70 by default (I sold him my Nikon stuff a long time ago when I went Pentax), but his assistant is one of the guys who treats Nikon like some sort of religious artifact producer.
I'll take my istD down in a day or two and let them compare viewfinders.
One thing I have found, in the studio a good viewfinder is really important, since the modelling lights really aren't that bright.
