The A 28-135/4 is not very good (as far as balance goes - it's good in every other way - <g>) on an ME Super (or a Super A, either) UNLESS you use the ME II Winder with it (as a grip). (The Super A might be a little better in this regard than the ME Super, but only because of the Super A's front grip. I do use the lens on a Super A as a "walkaround lens", but then I am not holding it for actual shooting all that much, and the extra weight and bulk of the ME II while lugging the rig around would not be balanced out (no pun intended) by the occasional advantage the ME II would offer while shooting.
