If you can't buy from Pentax Japan I am sure there are retailers in Japan that would be glad to send you one. There was a guy in California a few years ago who ran a service buying products from Japan. I nearly bought a camera through him. The price was good, but decided to pass due to warrantee limitations. Lenses should be more reliable I think so warrantee might not be as much of a concern. Powell
