OK, I thought you meant the whole pic, which would have been surprising since only the part of the face in shadow was adjusted. It was done quickly by making a selection of the area to be adjusted. I think I used S/H there, but more likely other adjustments Contrast/Brightness was used. I'll try S/H using your suggestion, which sounds like a good way to go. Thanks!
