Hi Mark, I had an Italian buyer once who paid me by direct bank transfer. It works fine. Just becuae they have your bank details doesn't mean anyone can suck money in - think of it as a one-way valve - money can only flow *into* your account. Make sure he picks up any costs - I was hammered a fee which i didn't realise until the last minute - check through the bank and then add it on top of what he owes you. Typically a few percent.
