Here are three photos out of the limited number I've taken with my new Sigma
300/2.8 EX APO (on a PZ-1p). I can already tell I'm going to enjoy shooting with
this lens wide open or close to wide open for that limited depth of field.
These are fairly large files, so if you want to have a look at them please be
patient if you're on a dial-up line.

"Ducks on the Erie Canal at 6:00 a.m."
The very first shot I took with this lens. Not really one by which you can tell
anything about how sharp this lens is!

"Tulips in Highland Park", Rochester, NY
At the Lilac Festival. Nice bokeh. All the really good lilacs were gone by the
time of the Lilac Festival this year so I shot a couple of photos of these
tulips.

"Lilac Festival 10k - Start", Rochester, NY
This is the big annual road race in Rochester. I didn't run it this year because
of an upcoming marathon (tommorow in Buffalo, in fact) so I went and shot
pictures for my web page (http://www.robertstech.com/run.htm).
I've ordered the matched 2x teleconverter to go with this lens to try out at
Grandfather Mountain next weekend.
