I use Portra-NC 400 to photograph my B&W cats (both female, BTW) and

which actually turned out technically pleasing, though the scan isn't
great. All were scanned from 4x6 photolab prints.

I guess what I'm saying is that with cats, the "best" shots are the
cute ones, regardless of technical merit.
