I see. In most RAW converters the Tint is an important part of WB
adjustment. I was wondering how they take it into account with JPG
shooting? I have yet to test a DSLR along a colorimeter, if the WB
values are anywhere near the colorimeter values. Anybody did this? I
was a bit surprised when I found out that all RAW converters display
the WB value for a same image ("as shot" WB) very differently.
Fortunately I don't mind slight differences in normal shooting, I am
not shooting something scientific. I just don't like AutoWB for its
unpredictability in some circumstances. It's funny - I have had to relearn
a lot about photography since going digital...
Good light!
