I would love to expound on this but I've already had a detailed, long
critique of Marnie's stuff time out on me so I'm not going to risk it again. Suffice
it to say that, while I'm using webmail, my comments and responses are going
to be rather short of my full two penn'orth.

Drat, drat, drat, drat. And drat again.
Oh, poop.
Marnie My private email address is the same that is on this list (I know if
it timed out, it's gone). Poop. LOL.
OK, second try. Not as good as the first....
"Pretty in pink" - cute to have the papyrus backed by glyphs. Maybe a
better (as in subtler) shot would have been just the papyrus shadows
against them, if it was available anywhere?
"When wood was cheap" and "Bad balloon day" - neither of these work for
me and I can't see what you are trying to do with either of them.
Possibly this is down to the medium of display.
"Yum, duck leftovers" - as opposed to cat and/or dog, I am a sucker for
fish pictures, so this appeals to me just on that level. I would have
liked to see the fish swimming towards me but I'll take what comes.
Bright, with just enough reflection. Maybe a polariser might have
improved it but I am not sure. Only the tail missing on the right for
composition debit marks. BTW, that looks like an Emu reflected above
the right hand fish.... 8-)
"Untitled" - this is probably the picture of the batch for me. Again,
the medium lets it down and I would have like the left hand edge to have
been more decisive; either in or out. An unusual "Rite of Spring" picture.
I don't have anything to add to what others have said about the rest of
the pics on the page. Indeed, as I was not online last night and have
not caught up yet, I may be being redundant here. 8-)
