It doesn't require a larger lens mount but do in some instances require 
redesign of the lenses. Thats why Pentax is now making full frame redesigned 
FA-D lenses; they wouldn't have if they didn't plan a full frame DSLR sometime 
in the future as the film camera line is basically dead or dying.
