For those DSLR users with 35mm gear who thought before buying their DSLR that
their 35mm film usage would:

        Remain the same?
        Be halved?
        Become occasional?
Become specific (i.e. B&W only or high ISO or slide only)?
        Cease all together?
Did your subsequent actual film use match your prior expectations?

When I bought my first 5Mpixel digital camera (Sony F707), I had no particular expectations. But nearly all my small format film usage (Minox to 35mm) stopped and I went to medium format film for large prints.

When I bought the 10D, the medium format film usage stopped.

For users who had Pentax SLRs prior to purchasing a Pentax DSLR did you end up
buying one or more new lenses specifically to suite the DSLR?

I'd already moved from 35mm to APS film in SLRs (Canon EOS IX) so the lenses I had for Canon at that time were bought for the smaller format. Buying into Pentax gear for the first time, I've only bought lenses with the 16x24mm format in mind.
