Well, as I've mentioned a number of times here, I put a newer, brighter LX screen into an MX and noticed NO difference whatsoever in the metering. Here's a description of my experimental method: I marked an area of my lightbox, put the MX (with lens attached) onto that area, noted the meter reading. Changed the screen, put the camera (with same lens attached) onto the same marked area, noted the exact same meter reading. Pictures taken with the camera since the screen was changed look just fine, too. ERNR
