If that style of system were implemented and you wanted to retain SLR viewing then you'd also have to exchange mirrors. The mirror size required to reflect the 67 or 645 views into the finder would slam into the rear of a 35mm format lens placed at the appropriate distance from the film plane. Nice though but not practical.
