Tried it out. Definite improvement. The *istDS compatibility problem has been fixed. I've only quickly played with it but I think I really like it.
Things I like...
* Nice batch mode
* Takes snapshots of corrections so you can quickly flip between versions of corrections
* Colour-code clipped pixels
* Eyedropper white/grey balance correction (ah)
* Navigator view - small full image and nav box beside the large zoomable image. Shame on PS for not having this in Camera RAW, since this was their idea.
