Nothing I can add to this!

One of the things I remember mentioning a couple of times back when I used to sell cameras as a full-time college student, part-time salesperson, is this little piece of wisdom, clearly of most value to the average consumer (and not necessarily as applicable to a high-end amature or pro):

"The best shots are the ones you actually take, and the worst are the ones you didn't take because you left the camera home due to its bulky, inconvenient size."

There was another one along those lines that had to do with "the shots you didn't get because your wife refused to devote the time to learning how to use such a complicated gadget." (an obvious plug for simpler user interfaces)

I think both of those factors did, to some degree, weigh into my decision years ago to buy a ZX-5n, and more recently, an *istDS. Both of them are among the smallest in their class, especially with a nice little lens like a 50mm f/1.4. And both are among the least complex, for the sake of my wife who enjoys taking a good picture but has no interest in learning why it turned out so good. ;)

BTW: I would hate to give the impression that my wife is dumb, she's just smart enough to know what does and doesn't interest her. haha
