On 10/3/05, Mark Roberts, discombobulated, unleashed: >It looks as if we have much travel to work out: I can probably persuade >Lisa to hang about London for a day and depart for Wales on Sunday, but >since our trip is only one week, we can't afford to hang about London >until Monday. >We're going to North Wales, near Conwy, so Llandudno Junction is the >closest stop. But there doesn't seem to be a train from London to >Llandudno Junction on Saturday *or* Sunday. There's a train to Holyhead >(where I have relatives who could probably give us a lift) on weekends, >but the Sunday trains are far too late in the day so we'd have to leave >London on Saturday and miss PDML London (unless it's just a lunch >meeting, perhaps).
Hi Mark, I'll use my amazing powers of travel perception and look into your journey. If there is any way we can help by driving you part of the way to a station over in the west, no problem. I'll do some research and get back to you. For instance, it may be that a train from (say) Oxford to Birmingham, and then from Birmingham to Llandudno at a reasonable hour could be possible. Or maybe a coach. I'll get on it. Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
