It seems that Pentax may soon be coming out with a replacement for the
istD. How many istD owners would be interested in trading in the D for the
newer camera, and what features or improvements would be needed in order to
make that choice?
There's little about the D/DS that needs improvement insofar as being able to do the job I need them to do at present. More resolution would be useful, more speed is always a plus.
I'll need another body soon: it will be either another DS or a uprated D with an SD card rather than CF.
I'd really rather see Pentax concentrate on improving the lens line than pushing more features into the bodies.
