What bullshit, Marnie. There's no need for you to apologize for your
photographs. Some may not be as "great" as the photos of other people, but
that's a real subjective call. Please remember and think about the
conversation we had while riding down to the meeting, (including the
comments YOU made) and other similar conversations. It just pisses me off
that you're apologizing for your work.

Your work is your own, your vision is your own .... there is no need or
reason to compare it to that of anyone else.

This group is very intimidating sometimes because of all the good
photographers on the list. My technique, not to put too light a point on it,
stinks.
Although I probably shouldn't have said anything about it. Also, I haven't
quite
figured out how to do it, but I sort of want people to know I know it stinks,
but I suppose I could make responses on technique afterwards.

But, you know, rather than bawling me out, which maybe was not a bad thing,
at least once anyway, I'd much prefer comments on my actual PESOs. That *is*
why I share them.

And I really get more out of that. It gives me something specific to think
about; something specific to work with the next time.

Also, I am used to having paintings/drawings critiqued, at least, many long
years ago, so I really can handle technique and composition criticisms quite
well.

These two are not that bad technically, but that is partly why I picked them
out.
