Well that means there was at least one M and one A 35/1.4 made. Sorry I don't have any photos. Hell, I didn't even know it was so rare as to be almost nonexistant when I saw it used in a store in the early 90's. I do recall they had that used A35/1.4 priced at $1000 which was way beyound anything I could afford. The funny thing is Pentax has made and sold things only in Japan that we over here have never heard of. Sometimes a few do make their way across the ocean by hook or crook though.

The claim just a couple of years ago was that Pentax never made a 35/1.4 of any sort other than as a prototype. I think the photo on Boz's site proves that wrong, and kind of vindicates my experience.

No such lens. However, I have held in my hands an A35/1.4 which also supposedly never existed, so who can tell.

Anybody care to enable me with an SMC-M 35/1.4? I'll trade my car or
my wife, your choice?

Have her drive up here. I'll make my decision after I see the car.
