I've a Laserjet 6MP (similar, perhaps, to the 4M) which I bought in 1996 or
1997, and which has been used a fair amount.  What a great printer ....
simple paper feed, easy to clean, built like a K1000, and every bit as
dependable. It's never needed service - just an occasional replacement of
the toner cartridge.  I'm not convinced that the current crop of HP
printers are as durable, at least not throughout the line.  Maybe it should
get a CLA?
