A whole s**tload of us! Actually, last year (my first) was ~the~ year to go, as there was Cotty from Jolly Olde, Jostein from Norway, Tanya for Oz, along with a bunch of us North Americans. It was sort of a cosmic convergence that so many for furrin lands came; truly, I suspect, a once-in-a-lifetime event. AFAIK, it's sold out already this year, but it is certainly possible to attend the Mountain with a daypass (is it $12?). You couldn't attend clinics and seminars, but you'd certainly get to hang out at PDML Central and drink beer. Looks like I'll be heading down that way with fellow Torontonian (and GFM rookie) Dave Brooks, and we'll be meeting Mark Roberts in Pittsburg and travelling together. There may be another secret guest, but I can't say more at this point. <g> Bill Owens (owner of PDML Central) must know the count for this year, but he's recovering from a recent <ahem> delicate procedure, and may not be around for a few more days. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
