It's not the lens, it's the camera.  The reason is that polarized light
cannot travel though the semi transparent mirror to reach the AF sensors,
so it won't focus right (or at all).  Also, the LX will not meter right
unless you have a circular polarizer (because the sensors for the light
meter are behind the mirror).  A non circular polarizer on a AF lens on a
manual camera (except LX) will work fine.
