Pentax does a complete clean, lube and adjust (CLA) and replaces EVERY seal and rubber
baby bumper. So long as the rest of your camera is fine, you got a great deal.

Bob...

Subject: LX "Sticky Mirror"
Hello all-
I just thought that I would report to you on a pleasant experience that I
just had. My LX was suffering from the dreaded "sticky mirror" syndrome, so I
took it to a local repair shop for a check-up. Guess what, he fixed me up
for $20.00 (US) total!
I just got the camera back, so I haven't run any film through it yet, but it
seems to function perfectly. He did inform me, however, that some LX's
require more extensive work than mine did, which obviously can lead to more
cost.
By the way, Pentax quoted me $250.00 to repair the sticky mirror problem,
which apparently included some work on the inside of the camera.
I will let you know how it holds up.
