I bought my LX a few years ago from KEH. It was in "excellent" condition according to them. In fact,it had like three specks of dust on the top plate and otherwise looked brand new. IF you see an LX on KEH in "excellent" condition, it may be pricey (I don't know your standards of "pricey") but it won't be ratty ... ERNR
