Eek! I thought I felt my ears burning! lol. *blush* thanks guys! Must say that it truly is amazing what a change one simple operation, no matter how vain it might be, can make to one's confidence and personality. I'm loving my new "shape" (and so does Steve! hehe!).
Although, that "profile" shot makes me look a tad chubby in the tummy! Eeek, me thinks I should have not been slouching when he took that one... Paul, thanks for the "hair" comment too - I've been swaying from my whole fairy/hippy thing lately and steering a little more toward the rock chic look! lol. And cool shots Ry, thought there'd be way more than that though, the way you were running around pointing that "thing" (it's a Canon 20D folks, I'm so veeeeeerry tempted let me tell you....) And Frank, as for Ry's comments - well, bwahahahaha! I got fitted up yesterday for my new tredley (that's Strine for bike). By next week, I will be burning up the streets of Brisvegas (Bris, Brissy, Brisbane et al) on a brand new, custom ordered, metallic red, ALL carbon, Giant OCR composite 2 road bike, complete with Ultegra running gear and tri-bars! woohoo!! Steve is going a bit higher than I though, he's getting their top of the range bike (mine is their 3rd highest), it is fitted out in Dura-Ace running gear, and man, even the brake calipers on that thing are carbon! Grand total for both bikes? Only aud$11k! And that's without pedals! hehehe! Hoping they will be here next week some time, but whenever it is, it won't be soon enough! Ry thinks I look buff now, wait till you see my calves in a couple of months time! We have been training on Cannondale mountain bikes, so there will be a biiiiig adjustment when we get on these new ones! Can't wait though, we are biting at the bit! In the meantime though, I need to work out how I am going to get my legs to walk down my stairs to the car to pick my kids up from school today - they are like jelly on account of a huge session at the gym this morning. BTW, I am so very sad to say that another of my "family" has gone to the great Pentax warehouse in the sky! My (bless her soul) very favourite and most used flash gun (500ftz) just returned from CR Kennedy with a note saying that the PC board is in such poor condition that it's not worth repairing. Why, oh, why??!!! Nooooooo! Anything but the 500ftz, take the 360fgz, take the Sigma's but please spare my 500ftz... Oh, how I love that thing! (Might be one step closer to switching to Canon though....) Going to drown my sorrows in Gatorade now... :) tan.x. She is! The amount of time that girl's been spending at the gym and the miles she's clocked up cycling around, she's looking really buff too. Frank, you don't want to ask her what bike she's going to be hooked up with really soon, or how much it costs.. Let's just say that that if it were a lens, it'd be big glass.. Way to go, young lady. > Paul > > > >
