You have no idea, Godfrey. We've had more than one loooooonnnnnnngg OT thread regarding sports cars. Shouldn't think chatting about motorcycles is a big stretch. Another favourite off-topic is beer. I have nothing to say on that subject myself, but I have noticed that many others here enjoy discussing it at some length. There are certain off-topics that are not as welcome* because they cause fights, but the automotive and beer ones seem to remain friendly. ERNR *I think Graywolf's FAQ mentions what they are; in any case you can probably well imagine since the same ones cause trouble on mailing lists and newsgroups all over the place.
