I don't see that in my copy -- do you have a revised manual?
And of course, the obvious question to the fact that the AE lock button's operation is nullified is -- why?

Thanks! I understood that the point of the initial post was to learn if anyone else had experienced this operational "quirk". Actually, the manual advises that F6 setting [2] nullifies operation of AE lock button.(page 115).
