I only have an Allgemein (general) and a Dateiinfo > (file info) Tab. I have 2 tabs on the property sheet - General (Allgemein) and Summary. Summary lists the (Property, Value) pairs, that is 'data info', so Dateiinfo is probably what you should be looking at. On the Summary / Dateiinfo tab you should see a button which, in English, is labelled 'Advanced >>' (Erweitert?) OR '<< Simple' (Einfach?). > 5. Find the property whose value you want to change > NO WAY. There's nothing i can change. The buttons switch between different views of the file information. You cannot edit the Simple view, but you can edit the Advanced view. Switch to the Advanced view by clicking the 'Advanced >>' button. A list appears. The left-hand column contains the property names. The right-hand column contains the property values. > 6. Click the property value. A text box appears > NO WAY. The property values do not look as though you can edit them. You can edit some, but not all, of them. In a masterpiece of usability engineering MS make you click on each property value to find out if it is editable. If it is, a text box opens; otherwise, nada, nichts, zilch, zero. Scroll down to the bottom of the list. On my JPG files there is a group labelled 'Description' which contains the properties 'Title' (Titel), 'Subject' (Thema), 'Keywords' (Schluessel Woerte?), 'Comment' (Kommentar). To edit a value I click it, and an edit box appears. If this doesn't work for you then I guess your system is set up differently. Perhaps you are using a different file system, or your user id does not have the necessary permissions. > 7. Type the new value and press Enter. > WOULD BE NICE > 8. Click 'Apply'.
