They appear to be. The image I posted is an actual viewfinder image of the screen.
Also, since you've had it for a few hours now, care to report on how you
find using it?
I won't really know if it's a big deal until I take it outside, which i haven't done yet. My preference is for an actual grid screen, this is a compromise at best.
