i have tried that and abandoned it. very expensive consumables. i use the 
Visible Dust series of brushes. expensive up front, but only a little more 
than what you use. however, consumable cost is very low, and it cleans very 
well, at least as good as the Eclipse fluid and swabs.

Since then, I've used Sensor Swabs (type 2) and Eclipse fluid.  It works
