Ken Waller, Bill Sawyer and I met this morning to see the BBC Nature 
Photography Exhibit at the Detroit Zoo. The exhibit included what must have 
been a 
couple hundred entries, including the top prize winners. All the photos were 
backlit transparencies. Most were shot on film, which isn't too surprising 
since 
only film entries were allowed prior to this year. The vast majority were shot 
with Nikon F series cameras. The exhibit includes some beautiful work. It was 
real treat. The weather was great, so we spent some time in the zoo after 
viewing the exhibit. Bill is a zoo member and supporter, so he's an excellent 
and 
very knowledgable guide. Lots of fun. I posted a few pics here:

I especially like Ben, Ken, and Sammy the Seal because it's sort of surreal.
