Labs will often have a different desk for account customers so they can jump the queue. It also gives the labs an easy way to discriminate. In the days when E6 was king, I helped one of my friends shoot a catalogue in a studio. The same complex included a pro E6 lab which stayed open all night while we did the shoot so that we could get the film turned round and on to the light table immediately to check while we still had the set-up in place. -- Cheers, Bob
