When looking from the side (refA on MX) it DOES appear to be
slightly tilted backwards. However, the view through it is pretty
well centered, jusdgen by the grid-screen and 2x magnification.

Yes, that looks the same on mine ...

No, I would say THAT is not normal, mine seems centered ...

Have been using this same refconverA on MX, LX, Z1, MZ-3, MZ-S 
and *istD without any problems ...
