I do so as well ;-)
That's why I ask for image stabilisation.

However, I may get a 2 MP very long tele image from a 10 MP long tele image.

But it's more difficult to compose a real wide angle at any resolution from
lots of distorted medium wide angle images - free hand shots of course ;-)
