This is an update to inform those who cares, if any, that Pentax have updated the helicoid support of this lens from 2 plates to 3. The focusing ring of the updated version is pretty smooth and light even with the 100mm metal hood (yup, the metal hood for M100/2.8). So how to tell which is which when buying used? Well, you can't. :-)
