Thanks for comment Marnie. I think the "blue" is more apparent on some 
monitors. It's quite minimal on mine and is confined to the out of focus 
branches. The lens is just okay. It performs pretty well in normal light, and 
it's about what one would expect for the price. I bought it just for fun 
walkarounds not for serious work. The only other shot I've posted is this: 
http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2813285. Here the color seems okay, 
although it's a bit soft. She's walking, and I'm handholding at 320. In any 
case, it serves its purpose, but it can't replace good primes.
